The Breast Center of the American Medical Centre is organizing on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, its first information and enlightenment event for women on the topic “You ask and we answer, guide, inform!”.
The aim of the event is to enlighten and resolve questions and issues that concern women and arise through the process of breast cancer and through prevention programmes.
The event is the starting point of a series of meetings and symposia that will take place at AMC’s innovative Breast Center, with the aim of developing relationships and contact with the public, as well as the scientific expansion of knowledge through meetings of Health Officers.
During the event, which is open to the public and can be attended by patients, as well as relatives and friends of patients, a team of experts including genetic counsellors, psychologists, breast surgeons, breast plastic surgeons, oncologists and radiologists, will answer questions and provide clarifications on prevention, diagnosis, treatment of the disease, surgical treatment and rehabilitation, oncological treatment, psychological support and genetic guidance.
