Breast lift: an operation that enhances our femininity and self-confidence

From the moment we enter puberty, our breasts are subjected to constant hormonal, physical and mechanical influences. During menstruation they swell, grow, then return to normal. This happens every month for as many years as the woman has been menstruating. During conception they grow and prepare for breastfeeding. On the other hand, gravity itself is a great enemy. It contributes to their loosening and falling. All these parameters lead to the sagging and dropping of our breasts as time passes.

Breast lift is a surgical procedure that aims to lift the breasts in the right position giving us back our youthful breasts.

If we have an empty breast in addition to relaxation, many times in these procedures a silicone insert is needed to be placed in order for the breast to gain volume. The combination of the lift and silicone insert is not always necessary. There are breasts which, despite their dropping, have volume and do not need to be added.

After the surgery it is advisable to use special bras which are suitable for breast surgery.  They do not have braces or stitches so that they do not put pressure on the operated breast until it recovers.  This procedure does leave some scarring which over time becomes imperceptible with proper care.

A woman can return to work very soon, about 5 days after surgery.

You can exercise after 6 weeks after surgery with exercises that do not involve jumping and aerobic exercises. This type of exercise is allowed after three months after surgery.
